After a nasty separation with abusive ex he refused to pay child maintenance for ds8 and dd4 for 2 years, bullying tactics and coercive control to avoid it. Custody split is 4 night/3 nights so not a huge deal but I finally had the balls to put in a CMS claim. Now he has been telling DS8 how much he misses him and wouldn't it be better if it was week about or if they had every second weekend together. He doesn't even parent them when he has them, he leaves them at his Mum's who does all their washing, dinners, packed lunches and he has just bought a new house 40 mins away from their school with his new girlfriend instead of 5 mins away so it doesn't even make practical sense. AIBU to think this is manipulation? How on earth do I protect my son without messing him up?
