I got glasses and I can now see the mumsnet logo

And it’s actually not a weird crown with pointless curly tentacles, it’s women with babies; a play on the Charlie’s Angels logo.

If the logo is shrunken down, I always see it as a crab. 😂I still remember how amazingly clear the world suddenly was when I got my first glasses as a child.

At the moment, I have a ‘M’ in a circle with a party hat.

I can also remember getting glasses, looking over the village green, and seeing everything in focus and reading the road signs. I didn’t realise until then what I was missing. I was around fourteen at the time.

I can also see my own face much more clearly but let’s not talk about that for now….

This is my overriding memory, aged about 12.

Aged 11, first pair of glasses - sat at the top of the stairs, trippin' out at being able to actually see the bottom of the stairs... 🤓
