There was no violence apart from the police attacking normal families out.

Some of the things being said by individuals... yes.

There was one individual explicitly exhorting people to murder a politician. I hope that person is now helping police with their inquiries.

I don't think most of the attendees intended violence, I suspect many, possibly most, were people looking for some sense of identity and belonging and pride in the wrong place.

I do think several of the speakers wanted to stir violence, as clips make obvious.

The shock is the fact that they are hired speakers. So that is what the organisers of the march want it to be about. It’s not a few outliers getting caught on camera. It’s what was organised.

I was there when Unite the Kingdom marchers started lobbing stuff into the anti racism March - well I thought it was them - are you saying it was the police?
A glass bottle just missed my head. I dodged the ‘water’ and other cans etc. I had to be diverted off our March to the coach to get to safety, I watched Unite marchers follow others to coaches to bang on the sides, try and get on. A couple on our coach were kettled into Whitehall for hours as the police seemed to think they were in danger from Unite marchers. Not even mentioning the threats and shouting here.
I am now wondering what actual violence would have looked like then?
