To not be able to find a good padded wireless bra for small chest?

Hi I’ve always been pretty flat chested (34A) and worn padded or gel up bras but due to a medical condition I now can’t wear underwires bras. I’m looking for something padded to give me more shape. I used to wear fantastic gel bras from John Lewis which gave me a lot more curve and definitely boosted a bra size but they don’t do them anymore. Does anyone have any ideas? Ideally something where any padding won’t fall out 😂

Pepper bras

You do not have to wear bras. You could wear vests for women.

But I’m looking for something to boost my size up!

M and s t shirt bras ?

M&S first teen bra range are excellent and all sizes not just teen. Second best I’ve found are Primark but I sew the removable pads in. John Lewis teen again have a wonder bra type copy too all in 34a

Some of us need to wear bras to create some curves. I don't want to look like a boy.

@Valleymum2 M and S do non wired T shirt bras.

Howdoyouwait · 17/09/2025 01:54

Skims do a good one

Wow, total failure of basic reading comprehension skills!

I recently bought this from Asda. It feels a bit weird to wear as the ‘ two sizes bigger’ claim is true! Not mega bucks so worth a try maybe.

New Look have some decent ones like you’re describing. Worth a try. I have the opposite issue as a 30K but my daughter is still small chested as a 30B and loves the New Look ones.

Moulded bras are the way to go. I can't recommend any as I don't live in UK.

I will never go back to a wired bra. They are incredibly comfortable and give a good shape. Mine aren't very padded though, but they do give a bit of a boost.

Are the Pepper bras any good? I've always been tempted to get one but the price tag puts me off.

M&S do comfortable wireless padded t shirt bras.

I found the '2 sizes bigger' one from Asda above ridiculously uncomfortable!

BogRollBOGOF · 17/09/2025 06:36

Are you genuinely a 34A?
While it is a plausible size, it is a relatively broad back with very little breast tissue and many women who think they're this size have a smaller back and are a couple of cups bigger e.g. 30C. It's still a small size, but wearing a bra with the right proportions of cup and back is more comfortable and maximises the bust you have.

Look up the boob or bust method.

I agree with this. I thought I was a 34A for years. Unbelievably I'm a 32D!

I went to an independent lingerie shop and was astounded at the result. Just don't get measured at M and S. They do decent bras for our size but don't measure correctly.

AtomicBlondeRose · 17/09/2025 12:59

I agree with PPs - what dress size are you? A true 34A is actually pretty rare!

Imsixtyandiknowit · 17/09/2025 13:08

Try little women on line - if they're still operating. Im a 34AAA & they have been great

I was also going to suggest Little Women - they're definitely still around.

Band sizes tend to correlate pretty accurately with dress size- 30 is about a UK10, 32 is UK 12, 34 is UK 14 and so on. So people may be right if you aren’t a size 14 in general you’re probably not a 34 band. Of course if you are a 14 and wearing 34A then probably yes it’s correct.
