To think that there is no point to social media with AI

I am not a big social media user, I do have an Instagram account but I haven't posted anything in years. I used to have a scroll every now and then and I have been doing it again recently. Apart from my contacts' posts, there are other posts appearing, but it seems like recently there is a lot that could be AI, so what's the point in watching anything if you don't know it is real or not?
Basically, from all you see, 50% could be real, 50% not, and you cannot be sure what is what. I just don't see the point at all, I am thinking about uninstalling it from my phone Altogether

Recently I've seen:

A video of Kirk's widow where she is full of hate and if this was a real message would be incendiary.

Press conference where the press secretary of the USA tells every journalist the question they are asking is stupid.

The same press secretary telling another journalist that of course the law cannot be applied to Trump the same way as to another citize because Trump is a millionare.

Now, I know the Trump administration is crazy, but I cannot believe all of these videos are true? The comments are full of people saying that they are AI. These are just some examples by the way, there are many others, but these come to mind.

What others think?

Social media only works well for following real people that you know in real life. Stuff related to politics is much more likely to be fake.

But these other things appear on my feed by default (I am not sure if they can be removed) and if I see them, more people would also see them... Apart from that, some 'real' people also use AI, a couple of people I know have pictures of themselves created with AI, so what's the point of seeing anything online if it can be fake or real.

The fact that videos with political content are created and circulated is scary. For example, the video from Kirk's widow, if anyone thinks it is real (and I am not sure it is, I guess not?) Could lead to serious unrest.
