Me and my ex partner have split up but still live together can I claim as a single person and is there a time frame ive gotta be out by got 2 kids together im not on the tenancy can I claim any housing costs for now?

Why in earth do you want to continue living with an ex? You aren't tied to a tenancy.. Get your own place.

If your not on the tenancy i dont think they would. Its complicated when your still living together, you really need to move out.

If you're talking about benefits then no, you won't be able to claim housing costs if you're not on the tenancy unless you can show that you need to pay rent in order to not be evicted. That will be hard to prove with your ex still living there although he can ask you to leave anyway.
