How can I stop obsessing over retirement

Its monday
I hate working
I work full time
I have tried multiple jobs and just dont like working
I earn £28k working full time
I 35 years old

Just a vent part from how can I stop thinking about retirement

Yes but for the love of god you don't get promoted from a TA to a teacher . You have to decide to do it, apply, be interviewed, train for at least a year. And no, being a TA is vastly different to being a teacher so not all people would want to do it or indeed be capable of doing it.

You have a terribly narrow view of human beings. Not everything is a simple choice. I hope you don't manage people in your job.

Yes I know there's a process to upskill. You need to apply for a course at a university to get a pgce to then achieve QTS.

I know that being a teacher has more responsibility, that's why it's paid more. Arguably I admit not enough, but it's a government job and they have market control over wages. But if you want to get paid more you need to take roles that have responsibility.

Why is my view of human beings narrow? I do manage people in my job.
