STBXH has said he is going to pay me a lot less CMS than he does his ex.

His ex is a high earner, I am not. He has one child with ex, two with me.

His justification is that my family is wealthy (he thinks, he doesn't really know, and I don't benefit from it. There's no trust fund or anything like that).

He's self employed so fudges the books, he'll be paying me 70% less than he does her. He sees all DC equally.

I don't think there's anything I can do but AIBU to be pissed off?

Not unreasonable to be pissed off but if it’s private arrangements then there’s not really anything you can easily do about it- it is shit though.

How much does he earn (high earner could be anything) and how much is he saying he’s going to pay. How often will he have your kids? You need to forget about what he pays his ex that’s their arrangement, you only need to concentrate on your arrangements

Not unreasonable to be annoyed as you have 2 kids to look after not just the 1 like his ex. I can only imagine they have a private arrangement where he's paying more than what CMS would say? At least make sure you agree to no less than what CMS would say for your 2 kids.

He will pay me the bare minimum which works out at about £75 per month, he is paying his ex three times that as well as contributing towards school meals, uniforms, hobbies, etc., so they do have a private arrangement.

It is his ex that's a high earner, STBXH is not - well, at least that's what his books say.

I just don't understand why a parent would want to treat his children differently.
