Am I considered far right now?

Septemberisaweirdmonth · 13/09/2025 16:12

Years ago I would have described myself as liberal and on the left. Over recent years the things I seem to agree with seem to be considered to be on the right and even far right

Examples:

I see nothing wrong with wanting to retain British culture or the innate culture of any country and see nothing wrong with a country being proud of its flag..as many are-Spain, Usa, Portugal etc etc

Whilst I have no issue with anyone being transgender, I do not believe transgender males should play in female sports, be in female toilets, prisons etc and I don’t believe children should be given drugs to alter their gender.

I think immigration in Europe needs to be controlled.,and quickly

I would be put off a man and likely wouldn’t see him again if he asked to split the bill on a first date. I can pay the bill four times over, but that’s not the point.

I am educated to post degree status and worked full time in my career for many years until I had my dc, I then wanted to and was thankfully able to stay at home. I see nothing wrong with the man going out to work, the mum staying home, taking care of the kids and the house-if that suits everyone and they’re happy doing that. My ideal scenario now would be a nice community, homeschooling and raising kids.

I am not anti abortion completely but my stance leans more towards this angle (I don’t tell anyone this though)

I regularly watched Charlie kirk, whilst I didn’t agree with everything and i’m not hugely religious, I agreed with a lot of his points and found he made his points respectfully. I also regularly watch Piers morgan uncensored

I didn’t agree with the almost forcing of people to have the covid injection

I quite like Trump

I feel embarrassed writing all this down as I feel I can’t really say this in real life

Have I become far right?

So you think it's acceptable to abuse people of colour, and piss in the street?

I think they behaved extremely well and obviously people don't like that and seem to want to tarnish them like you , little rascal.

Macarena1980 · 13/09/2025 22:20

Your first 2 points were reasonable in my view… the rest partially the abortion bit and liking trump… very right wing

You personally witnessed the behaviour of all attendees and are disputing that missiles were thrown at police and racist abuse shouted at minorities?

OP, I’m with you and I guess I’m right wing too. I can live with that.

This should be shouted from the rooftops.

The Democratic party has always been right wing, just not as right wing as the Republican, it's always been a fallacy to compare it to the Labour party.

Dozens of officers injured

Behaved extremely well? Bullshit

Why come on here and lie? Especially easily disprovable lies? Are you bored? drunk?

EarthSight · 13/09/2025 22:22

Pleasegodgotosleep · 13/09/2025 16:13

Yes

And THAT is why the country is getting more polarised and extreme, and why so many centrists no longer trust Labour.

As long as people like you keep spreading this nonsense, we will continue seeing a rise in the actual far right.

I don’t think she’s denying it happened, I think she’s applauding their actions.

It’s not an insult, it’s an observation. If you think it’s applaudable to attack the police while they’re doing their job, piss in the streets and shout racist abuse then objectively, you are a vile human.

Cupofteaandabiccy · 13/09/2025 22:24

They did NOT all behave well!!!!! The counter protest was unable to leave for 4 hrs due to the threats and missiles coming from Trafalgar Square. I’ve got the photos to back this up. It wasn’t at all ok. People were scared and many were in tears. Nothing about it was ok. Nothing.

Did you say the same for the 890 people arrested at the Palestinian protest? Hmm? Huh? I wonder? I mean thousands attended and only 9 arrests. Boys done good.

OneFairMintFawn · 13/09/2025 22:12

The people who attended the rally. Great day. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Urgh.. have you seen the people that attend these rallies. The kind of people you’d hide from walking home from a night out. Thugs. Yes, wonderful England, a country forged from the elimination of other cultures and slavery. Occupation and barbarism. Tommy Robinson - Donald Trump - Geoffrey Epstein - Andrew Tate - Elon Musk - these people you feel you can align with. It’s very sad that as a woman - you identify with these misogynistic, homophobic, fascists.

I do wish right-wingers would get it through their heads that this is exactly what left-wingers think. They don't hate the flag in the least. What they hate is knuckleheads like Yaxley Lennon hijacking it to encourage aggression and violence against minorities and people who commit the sin of having non-white skin.

As I type, I'm watching a large audience of lefty woke arty types cheering to the rafters a lady wearing a Union Flag dress and singing "Rule Britannia". Right wing types wuld probably hate it as the whole evening is being led by a conductor who commits the sins of being female and of Chinese origin.

I say the same about anyone who uses violence and abuse in the course of protesting, yes. Like most decent people.

I agree with some of what you’ve said. I too think our traditional British culture is getting very watered down. English traditions are becoming less and less common especially in younger generations.

I have absolutely no issues with transgender people. Live and let live. However I do agree they should be 18 and an adult to make that informed decision, because when they are young you’re still discovering yourself and the world, and easily influenced.

I strongly agree, illegal immigration needs to get under control in England. Most are full grown men on their own. We don’t know who they are/their background etc. and look at the shootings r*pings that have happened in recent years from these men that have crossed the sea, from an already safe country.

we are seen as easy targets. Most other countries have much stricter rules on it, but we just house them and give them money, then complain about housing crisis, tax rises.

I too would be extremely put off by a man not paying the bill. I think the traditional old school gentleman is dying. And women are now expected to work but also do most the childcare/housework too. Which is stressful. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you wanting to stay at home and raise your baby. You carried them. It’s built in your genetics. Look at animals and humans since 1000s of years back. Mammal mothers look after their babies until they are old enough to survive on their own. Absolutely no shame in it. Our birth rate is declining quite rapidly. parents should be supported and not made to feel bad for wanting to raise their babies. And not forced back into work too early.

I didn’t really know Charlie Kirk but feel for his family, as no one should be killed do to an opinion, and trump is a serious ick. Just no!

abortion I think is completely up to the woman, and would never judge anyone for having one. However saying that, I do think 24 weeks is abit far, unless child is disabled or incompatible with life. Most countries are up to 12 weeks with free choice, which I think is fair.

I like traditional British values and cultures. I think women fought hard to get us rights. And our country was heading in a good direction until about 15 years ago. But the far lefters are making so much noise now that people are scared to just want what they grew up knowing.

I honestly think the internet and social media in general has ruined the world. Our high streets, the things are children can and can’t do. I don’t think our streets are safe anymore.

am I right now? I don’t know. Maybe. I didn’t used to be. But both the conservatives and labour are terrible imo. I’m worried about the future of our country and our children’s, grandchildren’s lives. We do need abit of a u turn. So if that makes me right now then I guess that’s where I am.

I agree with some of what you’ve said. I too think our traditional British culture is getting very watered down. English traditions are becoming less and less common especially in younger generations.

Im genuinely curious about this. What traditions are you seeing in decline? And if you observe it’s particularly the case in younger generations, why is it associated with immigration rather than ageing, or education, or something else?

Your opinion is hateful, and support of the dickheads who were in the so called protest today shows you for who you are

But of course you're allowed that opinion. Just like I'm allowed to consider you to be unpleasant and ill educated
