If you have to treat yourself to little something nice, what do you do?
I got myself some dark chocolate batons from hotel Chocolat and some nachos and salsa from M&S.
I totally love M&S food, but only go there to get some treats.
How about you?

Slice of cake from an independent coffee shop - proper home baked! And a new book. Happy days!

A lovely new hardback notebook and a gel pen to write in it with

If I was going over the tenner, a planner notebook with weekly spreads and sections for different things, with an arty cover.

Strong coffee with cream, in a cafe on my own or at home looking at the garden

A plant for the garden. A new small glass or china vase.

A free treat is to go out and pick myself a vaseful of flowers from the garden to have on my desk while wfh - see above!

I had a real fancy for something very specific earlier this week, so I treated myself. It cost about £8, but it was so worth it!

One salmon fillet £3.75
2 lemons £0.70
1 small granary baguette from the bakery over the road £1
Bag of fresh rocket £1.25
Bag of fresh watercress £1.50

I poached the salmon with the juice of half a lemon in the water, then mixed the rest of the lemon juice into some mayo with lots of black pepper. I then had one of the most delicious lunches I have ever had; granary baguette with lemon poached salmon, lemon mayo, rocket and watercress. Highly recommend (and may treat myself again next week!)

A magazine and a nice coffee although it’d be a stretch at just £10 these days

Soup and a roll from my local home bakery. Gets me through bad days at work

An early morning film in the cinema with a large vanilla latte - by myself 👏

Oh this for me! But late, at 9pm or so. Horror film preferred.

Booths meal deal, especially the cherries in dark chocolate side.
