Or am I unreasonable to find it intensely irritating? So many of them now, just clogging up the board. Not to speak of the waste of time when one sets out to help someone who turns out not to exist.

It’s not just S&B threads. I tend to browse the unanswered page and offer my thoughts, but no one else answers and the OP doesn’t come back. I was wondering if it’s just me!
