I have a default from Klarna that I got in February 2024 and paid it off about 2 weeks later, it's for £85.
I know it'll stay on my report until 2030 .don't have any other adverse credit but worried this will affect my chances a lot, has anyone else had similar?

See a mortgage broker. Money Saving Expert forum is good for questions like this.

There are near prime lenders who specialise in lending to people with minor adverse credit like this. You should be able to get a mortgage but the interest rate will be higher than a normal high street mortgage. Speak to a whole of market advisor who will be able to advise you. L&C are brilliant and dont charge you any fees.

I did, in 2019. I still had an old debt relief order on my file from 2013. I think we had to go with a subprime lender... began with P? And then by the time it was remortgaging time my credit was stellar so we could choose something with a better rate.

Thank you. It'll be 2 of us getting the mortgage, partner earns more and has an excellent score so hopefully should be ok?
