Going on holiday with work

I work for a family, and they have recently arranged for me to go away on a work-holiday type thing with them, so if they’re not out that day I’ll be free to do my own thing, if they need me then I’m working in the air BnB.
I am feeling a bit anxious about the potential awkwardness, and just the whole setup! It will be a 4 hour drive. What do I talk to them about?
I’m in my early 20’s and the adults are over 60.
We’re due to be going in a couple of weeks

Please give me any advice to conversational tricks! We have a friendly but of course still professional relationship.

The set up here isn’t too clear.
I’d expect you’ll have your own privacy of an evening- your own room, feel free to go into town or get takeaway/have a long walk etc?
I’m sure the normal run of conversation will be ok, but maybe take some cards or scrabble if you’re meant as part of your job to socialise of an evening with them?
