To wonder how long is too long for a friend to reach out after a fallout?

What’s the longest a friend has waited to patch things up with you? At what point do you just assume the friendship is over?

I had a falling out with a friend who got back in touch with me after seven years, and I welcomed her with open arms. I missed her dreadfully, and wished I’d had the balls to make the first move sooner.

Have you reached out to your friend?

Depends what's caused the fall out? Have you reached out? (Soo hate that term!!)

I had a bestie I met in year seven and we were mates until I was 21. Then suddenly she cut me off. Fully ghosted.

I was really hurt for ages. About five years later I saw her in the street, our eyes met and I smirked and blanked her.

Then in about 2016 we reconnected on Facebook. I was really delighted as I missed her very much all that time. I explained I had blanked her that day as I was still hurt. But she apologised and we made up.
