I am a recovering people pleaser so I start most conflict believing it's my fault and bend over backwards to never put anyone out, but we all have our moments dont we...
I remember an argument with my manager in my early twenties that essentially was over some people doing more work than others, and in hindsight we worked somewhere where it was impossible to fire people and they were doing just enough work to stay out of firing territory and all went off sick at the slightest hint of performance conversations, so im not quite sure why I, a 21 year old, thought complaining to my 27 year old manager in a massive organisation would actually change anything....
So entertain me: have you ever looked back on something and gone 'ouch, I was the unreasonable one there!'
