Hello ,
I just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on this my DD aged 16 is preparing for a Dance show with her dance school she does tap ,Morden and contemporary but her teacher emailed me saying she is going to only do the Morden and contemporary dance as the tap dance she is really struggling with the fast paced of it she is devestated

Well if she's doing dance at 16 the standard is typically quite high, so if she's not keeping up then it's better she focuses on the ones she's good at?

Pretty standard. Tap is pretty unforgiving if someone is behind and it can throw the others off as well.
Of course she is embarrassed and disappointed though. I'd just give her loads of tea and sympathy and tell her that she's amazing at the others.

@Springadorable To be honest she struggles with them all to be fair but especially in tap as that’s the fastest dance she is so far behind
@lizzyBennet08 I understand that I just feel so bad for her as she has been practicing for months and now she can’t do it
