My partner has hit me loads of times and police won't come

Police won't come they sent me a text

What do i do .
My jaw is broken i think

What did the text say? Have you called 999 and told them you are in immediate danger?

Firstly get somewhere safe. Lock yourself in a bathroom etc. Do you have a neighbour or any family close by?

So is the person who hit you still there? If so phone 999. The police don't text.

Call 999 now and dial 55 if you need to stay quiet, they will know you're in danger and can't talk. Do not disconnect. Where in the UK are you?

Is he around? Can you leave safely if not?

You can make a silent call to them if you don’t want him to overhear you. Maybe tell him you’re having a bath to ‘calm down’ if he tries to get you to come out.

Im really struggling. They don't care. My dp smashed me

Are they not coming as you’ve down played it? I can’t imagine a case where they would ever not come if you phoned 999 and say your partner broke your jaw. Can you text someone you address and tell them to phone 999 for you? Or even an ambulance (who will call the police) if that’s the only safe way to do it/get you out the house.

Hello, just to let you all know that thankfully the OP is safe, she started a new thread and posted this update:
"My thread was hidden. Thank you all for your replies. Police have been. Lovely lady Police office just left and DP in custody. They ate coming tomorrow to interview me about past abuse. I thought I was gonna die tonight. Thanks everyone."
