To think not being able to book online is old-fashioned

I just want services I can book online at my own convenience instead of having to fill in webforms only for them to call me when I'm at work, I work in a call centre so I can't just take calls whenever, and I work 9-5 with no flexibility so many places are closed when I finish, don't want to have to waste my lunchtimes on the phone, I don't need a discussion just let me book.

Yep.. online booking was the only good thing to come from Covid.

@Evilwasp2 - please give some examples?

Lot of services, dental, tradesmen etc.
They also don't ask when they can call, just call and assume you'll answer

I always contact tradespeople through Facebook messenger, that way I don’t have to speak to anyone, but completely agree about the dentist (and all other NHS appointments)!

Yep I agree, if I can’t book online these days I tend to look elsewhere

Agree, I recently changed dentist and the new one lets you book online which is glorious, hated the whole being on hold for ages to have to have a whole list of times and dates reeled off quickly on the phone.
