Even the most bellicose countries tend to use the word ‘defence’ rather than ‘war’.

After his comments about Greenland and Canada, it isn’t exactly reassuring!

"Department of Defence" (and "Ministry of Defence" here) is actually bit less than honest, and "Department of War" more accurate - so I find it kind of hard to disagree with this, despite my feelings on Trump.

What I would say is that sometimes it is more important to be diplomatic than brutally honest, unfortunately Trump is too stupid to realise that.
