Sh it hair, don't know what to do with it!

It only looks good if it's straightened, which damages it even with heat protection.
I stupidly had short layers cut in it 10 weeks ago and that's the last time I cut it, the ends look dry and flick out horrendously as seen on the picture.
It's just about long enough to put into a stubby ponytail but that's it, I hate it.

Have a haircut tomorrow and don't even know what to ask for, I'm fed up of rubbish hair, looking for any suggestions.
Something that I don't need to use heat on every time but that seems difficult.

This is 10 weeks of growth so you can imagine how short it was previously.

I've been told I have a good jawline and cheekbones for a pixie cut but im scared it'll look too drastic.

Have you tried an air wrap for drying, if you want to keep the length? Or maybe going a bit edgier on the cut if you don’t?

Yeah I've looked into them, no idea what sort of cut suits me tbh, I tried to go edgier by getting shorter layers cut in through the top but it didn't work sadly.

I was then going to suggest a pixie OP, you definitely have the features. Brave cut, and I’d add some red colour too.

Or, a graduated bob, the longest part being jaw line. Not as drastic, and if you don’t like it you can grow the layers out to a classic bob. Or you could then go for a pixie, and it won’t be as drastic.

I loved my pixie, and my ‘bob’ is now below my shoulders, and I’m so tempted by a pixie. I will do it again, it’s such a lovely easy to manage cut. You can also have a long, feathered pixie to adjust to.

Thank you! I'll definitely give it some thought.
