Until recently my area hasn’t had any English or Union flags put up. However, yesterday, a square close to my workplace had one put up on every lamppost.
And they look shit.
Cheap, small, plastic looking - the kind of thing you might hang from your car during the World Cup.
They're also only half way up the lampposts so look like they’re permanently flying at half mast - or is that the point?
Anyway, I think flags can look great but regardless of the reason for flying them, this lot look shit.
