It is not ANY COUNTRY. We are talking about the president of the most powerful country in the world. What he does or doesn‘t do, will affect people all over the world to some extend. Look at the “lovely big tariffs” and the response of the stock markets all over the world when he introduced them. Long term they will affect all the countries which rely on exports to US.
Ditto war in Ukraine. How US president handles this, will have huge consequences for everyone. Things have got much worse since he cancelled Biden’s support. Without US Ukraine cannot survive long term as Europe doesn’t have enough resources.
NATO will also crumble without US.
No big issue can be resolved if US president decides to sabotage the efforts to do so.

So I am puzzled that you don’t understand why people are nervously watching what the unstable US president is going to pull off next.

The world does not need to know the daily ins and outs of Slovakian/Polish/Portuguese/Vietnamese politics but we really need to keep up with the orange one in the White House.
