I'm not ignorant. I'm asking for people to think about what they're told versus the reality and come to a potentially different understanding.

For example, people genuinely believe that the royal family has no power in politics because of a 'decree' stating so despite all evidence to the contrary.

That aside, watching the president of another country like it's some kind of sport is so strange to me. I can't understand if we do it because we're jealous, we want them to fail, we wish we could be more like them, we are bored and need hobbies or what.
