To ask you to come tell me about someone who recently restored your faith

Mine is a very low-key example. So I recently bought a new toaster. My much loved ancient toaster was only partly working and though I tried, I lacked the skill to get it back to 100%. So I gave it away on Gumtree, obviously explaining the small issue in my ad.
I had one rude reply and several ‘is this still availables?’ which invariably end up coming to nothing. I was determined not to put the toaster in landfill, so hung on in there!
And then there came a lovely message from a man keen to give it a new home. He collected promptly and messaged soon afterwards to say that he had managed to fix it (easily 😳) and that he felt bad about taking it, and offered to return it to me.
I thanked him profusely and explained that I had already replaced it and was delighted for him to have it. He replied saying how glad he was, because he can’t have gluten, so he has one side of the toaster (now fixed) while his wife has the other for her normal bread.
How nice is that?! Tell me something feel-good about someone you have met. Bet it’s not as random as mine 😄

My Tesco delivery men are always so cheery even in the rain. Some are in their late 60s. Can't be easy.

@JMSA That is wonderful! That was very nice of you, and very nice of him.

@CharlotteRumpling That's great, too!

I’m pregnant and it’s the young guys who would be seen as ‘challenging youths’ who are usually the first to offer me their seat.

I have a private consultant psychiatrist who diagnosed me with ADHD. A few weeks ago, I had massive problems with stress and with hindsight probably autistic burnout - I could hardly eat, didn't want to see anyone and couldn't sleep. She really went above and beyond to give me very helpful and practical advice while she was on holiday. For a period of a couple of weeks, I was getting emails from her every day. She went completely above and beyond her remit. She didn't charge me a penny extra either.
