Is it cheeky to ask the cleaners to do this?

They come every two weeks to do a big clean for a few hours, this sometimes may involve cleaning the oven, fridge, putting washed covers back on sofa, sheets on bed etc, sometimes none of this and just cleaning everywhere.
I’m very tidy so all they usually have to do is clean, it’s a fairly minimalist house too.
I’ve been ill for a week and Dd (7) room is very messy and all the clothes pulled out of her wardrobe and messed up (can’t stand this and like them all hung up and in correct piles) I don’t have the energy to face this and Dds room at the moment, would it be rude to ask them to please tidy the rest of the room (Dd has done some of it) and do the wardrobe?

Hanging clothes up beats cleaning the oven. I wouldn't mind at all, although I'm not a professional cleaner.

I would just ask them to skip that room to be honest and tackle it when I’m feeling a bit better. I’d prefer them to clean rather than tidy.

Hard to say, some cleaners might be perfectly fine with it, others may not. I suppose all you can do is ask. I hate sorting clutter/mess in my own home, let alone someone else's.

Straying into housekeeper territory what you're describing. Depends on the cleaner tbh. i wouldn't have when I did domestic cleaning. But I wouldn't have done beds or settee covers either.

I’d say just ask! I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask the question, it will be down to personal preference whether your cleaner is willing to do that or not, or what they might have to let slide in order to do that job. Good luck and hope you feel better soon 😀
