AIBU to feel sorry for most kids story villains?

Lighthearted but my DD5 is rewatching Peter Pan for the thousandth time and honestly I want to smack Peter Pan in his smug face. He’s the ultimate and original man child with a crazy possessive ex (tink) and a weird group of mates. I’m kinda with Hook on his dislike. Wendy should see all the red flags ;-) and run a mile… And the witch in Hansel and Gretel was just minding her own business and two feral kids come along and eat her house!! I’m getting old and grumpy clearly but who’s with me??

And look at the mess Goldilocks left behind!

I always felt sorry for Skeletor. Couldn't they just let him win once??

Surely Goldilocks was the villain in that story though?
The poor bears just wanted to eat their porridge!
