Hi
just wanted some ladies feedback on this.

I separated from my husband and had heard about Hinge dating app.

it started off fun and exciting as I had been in a relationship for 23 years.

now I’m finding it soul destroying.
Ive connected with guys and had phone calls, good chats through messages and then out of nowhere no contact.
They have deleted me from their phone because I can see their pic has gone or they read my message but don’t reply.

im so lost, is this what it’s like ?
my confidence is taking a beating here.

just wanted to hear other ladies stories and how you cope.

im on the verge of deleting it.
but wondering are there any decent men out there

It's normal on OLD.

You need thick skin and infinite patience.

Do not take anything personally.

Don't do it until you're in upbeat frame of mind, and then treat it like a game with a lot of admin. That's not to say be mean, but don't hesitate to say thanks but no thanks.

There are good people out there.

But you have to be aware that any relationship based on chat doesn't have that much value unless both parties want to take it further.

Chat bandwidth is low so it may take a week of chat to find out what in a simple one to one meet up might take you an hour.

Don't get emotionally invested in a relationship until you have at least met up a few times.

I just don’t understand when you seem to be getting on with someone really well.
you say goodnight and by morning, gone or you’re being ignored.

i am struggling and that’s why i knew I should delete it.

wondering if i will ever meet someone genuine
