Why did he take pictures of us

Been talking a guy off and on for months. We live in two different states, I decided to fly to his state because I was visiting family and checking our places to move to. I met up with him and he took me on a very expensive date. One thing I noticed was that he couldn’t keep his eyes off of me. When I was taking a photo of the food, he suggested that I put his arm in the camera so that it looks like I’m with a guy. He then pulls out his camera and decided to take multiple pictures of us ?????

Why take pictures?

....ask him?

bitterexwife · 01/09/2025 05:54

He wants to ‘claim’ you? Do you frequently put pictures of your food up on social media for instance? He wants people to know you are with him I think.
Has he put the pics he took of you both on social media and tagged you in them?
I don’t see a massive problem of him taking selfies of the two of you together, but needing his arm in your photo of food I think is about ‘claiming’ you.

autienotnaughty · 01/09/2025 05:55

How well do you know him? He could want to make sure people know you are ‘taken’ which is abit territorial.

FortuneFaded · 01/09/2025 06:46

I find the answer to these riddles by asking the person directly rather than consulting randoms. You are thinking of moving to his state and yet you’re not able to ask him why he is taking photos?

IMissSparkling · 01/09/2025 06:51

It's 2025, taking photos in a restaurant is hardly unusual. Confused

londongirl12 · 01/09/2025 06:53

Didn’t you ask him at the time? How would we know??

NeverOneBiscuit · 01/09/2025 06:58

Is it a relationship? Maybe he wanted some photos of you/him together?

I’m assuming from your reaction that now you’ve met face to face you’re not interested in pursuing a relationship?

As pps have said, you could have just asked him why.

CountryMumof4 · 01/09/2025 07:07

Is this the same guy you blocked not long ago (a couple of weeks, maybe?) for something else to do with social media pics? If so, you might just be best calling it a day. If you're questioning things so regularly, it isn't the right relationship for you.

Unfortunately.

People are obsessed with taking photos everywhere and anywhere.

But honestly I would find this guy's behaiour very unnerving. But then I would have found OP taking a photo of her food pretty strange as well because I really don't understand why people do this.

cattykinns · 01/09/2025 07:17

Are you an adult? It’s normal for couples to take photos together.

Zonder · 01/09/2025 07:18

I remember your other threads about this same guy. It always seems like your question is asked so that we will all say "because he's in love with you and you are soul mates".

Sadly I also remember from your other threads that he's playing with you and that generally people have warned you to steer clear.

Flocke · 01/09/2025 07:21

Oh it’s you. You said you had blocked him?? Everyone told you (on at LEAST two of your other threads) not to go near him as he sounds creepy and potentially dangerous. Yet you still did it. Here’s to another thread of people giving you advice and you ignoring it.

In one of last threads about this guy I’m pretty sure she mentioned he was upset that there was an arm in one of her photos. For some reason the OP and this man seem obsessed with people’s arms in photos.

MrsGhastlyCrumb · 01/09/2025 07:26

Why take pictures of food? That’s just as weird.

thebabayaga · 01/09/2025 07:27

You're the one who was talking about a crazy stalker guy and you wanted everyone to tell you that the reason he was being crazy stalkerish was that he liked you.

More of the same nonsense.

Sera1989 · 01/09/2025 07:30

If you are the poster that I think you are then everyone said don’t meet this guy because of the red flags. Didn’t he get angry because you wouldn’t tell him which hotel you’re staying at?? He will probably try to use the photos against you somehow. Just block him already

EponeeRae · 01/09/2025 07:43

I haven’t seen your other threads but I don’t really understand why you think it’s weird that he took photos of the two of you. Surely that’s more normal behaviour than taking pictures of your dinner.
