About to purchase one and I’ve found pockets of bad feedback on Reddit, enough to make me worry about quality/assembly and customer service.

It’s the frame that best fits our budget and requirements and style.

we have two: a double low bed: excellent and a double bed: excellent too. I mean it doesnt squeek, is robust, low bed has been dismantled and rebuilt more than once and is still doing a very good job. We have good mid range mattresses on them (about £400 each) and we sleep well on them. Im not a big fan on the design but my son really liked it and he is happy (double bed). (I prefer upholstered beds). We are currently sleeping in the low double (passed on from friends) and we want to buy ourselves a king size bed. The double low bed will go to my youngest (has a single atm) because it is a good bed.
we’lll buy from loaf for our king size just because of the design (but same quality as Getlaid - we also have a loaf bed for 3rd DC that used to be ours and in terms of frame/construction i cannot see a difference - design is different though)

Ours is great....8 years old. We are replacing as it is a low bed ( it had to fit in the eaves at our old house)

Two beds from them and both are great. Would definitely buy from them again.

Two of my adult sons have bought them, and one has just bought a second one and moved the original into the spare room they are really pleased with them. They both felt they needed mattress toppers on the mattress though.

Thanks everyone. Its such a lot of money to spend when you add up mattress, bedding and frame - its easy to allow a handful of bad reviews to put you off, but you'll find bad reviews on anything if you look enough!

Love them. Have had 3.

One we sold when we moved.
Two are going strong after 10+ years.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them 5*.

I have a different experience. The bed is ok, now and the mattress is fantastic.
But getting a complete undamaged bed was a nightmare. We had a white painted bed and several parts came damaged. We were also missing a leg. It took quite a while to get replacements sorted as was made to measure and one of those was still chipped but we kept it as had had enough.
And putting it together was really hard because you are screwing into new wood. We had to drill pilot hole but still really physically hard to put together.

We've had for 2 years now though and it is solid and extremely comfortable.

Had our bed frame 6 years and it is great. Got mattress elsewhere though

GailTheSnail · 01/09/2025 09:16

We got one in sept 2021. It looks nice and is still going strong. Mattress was from elsewhere

Thank you everyone. Once you combine a mattress, frame and bedding it’s a lot of money and if you over research (as I’m prone to) you can find negative reviews on anything!
