How much do you spend each month on your clothes and makeup etc

I am going back to work from maternity leave and a totally different clothes size now. I am trying to lose weight and have been looking at clothes online and feeling guilty that I didn't put in more effort to lose weight early.
I am thinking of spending a max of £50 for 3 dresses and a pair of shoes. Just wondering how much others spend on buying clothes and makeup etc each month as I am just not sure if I should buy temporary clothes from temu and then keep losing weight to fit in my old clothes.

I wouldn’t use Temu, the quality is terrible. Have a look on Vinted, eBay and Facebook Marketplace, or at places like Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco as they often have decent stuff for not a lot.

I don’t buy things monthly.

This year I have bought
one pair of linen mix trousers for £27.50 from m&s, because I was melting in the heat.
One pair of £35 jeans in Feb, from ASOS I think, to replace a pair that were so worn they went in the knees,
Today I have just bought a new tub of loose face powder for £5 from boots and spent £12 on face products
I also spent £10 on Retinal in June.

Vinted is your friend. I had outfits I liked before I had my second that don't fit me. Found them on vinted for low price so get to still enjoy. Ofc they don't sit on me the same but I like them and I know they are comfortable.

I think I spend about £500 a year on clothes, including underwear. I tend to buy some things at the beginning of the summer and some at the beginning of winter rather than monthly. I buy reasonable quality high street brands and hope to keep them a long time.
I don't buy makeup.

I've spent around £20 on tights, also bought some powder, foundation and primer because I've run out. I did do the ffern leger for a bit and that has been rash, but I've stopped that now.

I do need some new jeans and casual trousers, also need to lose weight so only have a couple that fit me. I'd also like to replace one of my "office day" dresses which is looking worst for wear. I want some trainers too. Will probably spend around £250 on the wardrobe ugrades.

I'll probably spend a bit more in the run-up to christmas too, on PJs 😁

Any ideas on getting cheap dresses which are reasonable quality?

@wordywitch many thanks for suggesting Vintes. Found some reasonable pieces.
