Divorce question - please help!

Hi all,

I just wondered if anybody can help advise please?

I’m going through a divorce at the moment and it’s going to take a while by the looks of things, as we are only just getting round to financial disclosures.

In the event that there are assets to split (I.E the marital home) and it needs to be sold to do so - would the divorce be finalised and I’d be legally divorced before the assets owed to me are given?

with something like a house, it's common for divorce to precede sale, but can go either order afaik.

process now. EXH massively dragging his feet and the divorce has been going on almost 2.5 years!

I’ve met a lovely new man and want to get on with my life but feel constantly stressed and as though the divorce is hanging over me. Just want it done!
