There was a thread about snoring. Some mentioned ear loops. I've looked and there's a few. Which are the best? TIA

Look at the ones branded as loop. They have an amazon store for the uk, or you can look on the eu website. I don't use them, but know a few that use them in the day time, and they have dome designed for sleep.

@Talkingfrog thank you.

Hopefully some who have used them will post? I'm wary of amazon reviews.

I don't rate Loop at all. Certainly not for blocking out snoring which is what I got them for. They hurt but don't actually stay in very well either and I can hear all the snoring. I only use them now on aeroplanes to dull out the noise when I'm reading. I got cheapy ones from Amazon that are much better

I had the original loop 'quiet' plugs and they worked well for me and I found them comfortable but after losing them I bought the new quiet version which do not block as much noise and are not as comfortable (they are fine unless you're a side sleeper). There is now a sleep version which are more expensive so I imagine the company realised where the money is and are charging more to worn out exhausted partners willing to pay more to block out the sound of snoring.

YumYa · 25/08/2025 13:28

I'm a side sleeper.

I've ordered those cheap ones.

I take some reviews with a pinch of salt too.

We didn't buy from amazon, we bought direct from the eu store. The amazon store is their uk shopfront, but didn't have the item in stock.

I haven't needed to use them, but a few family members wear them for some daytime activities and get on with them.

I have the original loop quiet and they are brilliant for blocking out snoring and for sleeping in.

I'm so annoyed that I lost my original pair, I bought two pairs of the 'improved' version that they're not near as good. Now they recommend a 'sleep' version for snoring and its double the price. I'm still hoping I'll find my original pair but they're gone a few months.

YumYa · 25/08/2025 23:46

Such a shame @Mudflaps . I hope you find them.
