Help... Do any of you have any advice please? I'm part of 3 people flying out to Vancouver next Friday. It's taken years in saving for the trip and we're finally there. Bought the tickets to go over there etc. One of our people's has gone out last night with his passport for ID - and he's lost it. He's lost the bloody passport... I'm at a loss for words. I'd be grateful for any advice. I just can't believe it 🤬

Have you called the police station local to where he went to ask if it’s been handed in?

Go without them. It's a hard lesson . . .

Unfortunately you can't use the 1 dat service for a lost passport, quickest is a week. Next appointments will be Tuesday, so do you mean 29th August or 5th September?

That person does whatever they can to find their passport and to replace their passport in time. You still go to Canada regardless.

I would put a social media call out for the lost passport and call every place he went (including police as mentioned above).
you can get a lost passport delivered in a week after your appointment. It may come sooner.

I'm so peed off. But thank you very much for all of your replies and suggestions. I'll report back adjective I get somewhere. Hopefully from Canada 🙏🇨🇦
