If you were quite elderly, with a deteriorating and limiting health condition, have contacted some old friends and enjoyed it, would you contact an old friend with whom you had an on/off relationship? You haven’t seen each other for years, went to his wedding and your motives for contacting are purely innocent. Would you think this was ok? (I would.) Inspired by another thread.
