Hi I've posted about this property issue many times in legal but not this aspect. Conveyancing solicitor failed to flag a missing lease plan when I purchased a flat. Neighbours plan shows their flat to be where mine is. Thus started a very expensive, time consuming 2.5 year process of getting it sorted out with deeds of variation. My flat was on the market and sold for 166,500 when the plan issue was found. In the current market the most I can hope for Is 159.000. Is the 7,500 likely to be taken into consideration when I approach them for costs. Thanks for any help, advice or shared experiences.
