Have I just given myself food poisoning?!

Bought a snack ready to eat vegetable samosa from M&S 2 days ago. Put it on the top shelf, on top of a box of smoothies, not touching the top of the fridge (inside) but not far off it.

Went to eat it today and it tasted a bit weird, ate about 3 mouthfuls and then chucked it away. Felt where it had been sitting in the fridge and it doesn’t feel cold in the slightest (the rest of the fridge is fine). I then felt the filling inside the samosa and it felt cool - not cold.

I don’t understand how one bit of a sealed fridge could be less cold than the rest.
It’s veggie, I’m sure it’ll be ok anyway - plus you didn’t eat much.

Nah you'll be fine I think. It's just veg

This is why I always have a fridge thermometer inside my fridge.

No

Probably not. It’s vegetables.
