Ocado delivery late!

I chose the 8pm-9pm slot, I’ve never had an issue before.
Haven't had a phone call, email or text message to say it’ll be late. I checked the app and it says “we’ll be with you at 22:45” what’s going on?! This has never happened in all the time I’ve used Ocado.
I’m really fed up as I’m usually in bed by 10:30pm and have an early start tomorrow.

So annoying for you! I had this once with Tesco but it never turned up and they didn't contact me to tell me. The tracking just kept saying it was on it's way. I was really annoyed as I stayed up late waiting. When I phoned them the next day, they said 'the driver probably had to finish his shift'. Fine, but send me a message to tell me that! They also said 'they might attempt delivery today instead'. I'd have a cut-off time in mind and if it hasn't arrived, then go to bed and turn your doorbell off!

I’d ring them and ask for a fresh slot early tomorrow. They’re pretty accommodating. They were running very late for me once after being stuck in traffic due to an accident, they gave me the choice of waiting for it, or to reschedule for the next day

I just rang them, they said the driver has three deliveries before me but will be here by 11pm.
If it doesn’t arrive by then I will reschedule for tomorrow instead.
So frustrating! A little communication wouldn’t go a-miss.

That's very unusual for Ocado. I've had them early but never late.
