Having a child is holding your heart in your hand outside your body
Imagine someone just slapping that heart about and mistreating it in front of your eyes
Despite telling you they’d do all they could to protect them
Then running out of time and financial resources so you can't protect those children from the most beneficial life opportunities that were previously available
Then being told its your fault for not being more communicative (in the face of abuse)
