To expect enough towels in our hotel room?

Currently on holiday in Mexico. All inclusive & there's a number of issues, some easily addressed, others not so much but we will have a great holiday despite this.

One thing that's (probably irrationally) grinding my gears is there not being enough towels for the number of guests.

I've had to ask reception every time for enough towels. There are 5 of us & they leave 2 or 3 towels. I ask for more - they bring them. The next time the room is serviced (not daily) they take 5 & leave 2 or 3.

I get it's only a minor inconvenience (especially considering there's no hot water to our room) but AIBU to expect the same number of towels as there are guests without having to ask?

There's no replacement hand towel or shower mat either despite there being one when we checked in.

Of course YANBU. I would be pissed off if I had to keep going to reception and asking for more towels on holiday!
Perhaps leave a note in the room for the cleaner? My Spanish is rusty but this should do the trick:
Somos convo personas en está habitation. Por favor deje cinco toallas limpias. Graçias.

A couple of dollars would help as well. I know you shouldn't have to but 🤷‍♀️

Keep phoning reception for more and leave a note for the cleaner.

Slightly off subject, how is the weather there, I am thinking of going next week?

The weather has been amazing. We woke to early rain a couple of days ago but it'd cleared before breakfast. It's been 30 plus each day with mostly clear skies.
