Posting for traffic.

I have some of these notes here. Mainly from birthday cards for myself and daughter where the money has been left in them. Does anyone know the best place to change them?

Many thanks

Take them to a bank and they will change them. Some require you to have an account with them.

It depends how old they are but the post office does accept some.

If they're really old you can post them to the Bank of England I think...

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 20/08/2025 17:22

How old and are you in England?

SillySeal · 21/08/2025 07:30

I know Halifax swap them without issue.

Thesunisfinallyshining · 21/08/2025 07:33

You should be able to pay them into your bank account, including at the post office. Some post offices will swap them for you. Alternatively go on the Bank of England website, they will have a form for you to print and confirm the address to send them to.

You can find the details here of which post offices will exchange them. Note that you will need your passport as ID.
