What do you do?
we came back from camping Saturday and I've felt so ill since then I've been in bed most of the time other then to sort meals etc out for them
DC are 8 and 12 so not little little, but I'm starting to feel really guilty because I thought I'd feel better by now but I don't.
theyve literally just been on their Xboxes all day every day since Saturday but the 12 year old has asd and adhd and can be really hard work to entertain off screens and then they just start bickering etc and it's felt too daunting whilst feeling like shit.
They are going on holiday with grandparents next week so they're not entirely deprived of activities but the guilt of being ill in bed is driving me mad

Don’t feel guilty, just do what you need to do to rest and get well.

A week of increased screen time won’t hurt them. Have you been to the GP?x

Just let them do what keeps them entertained and quiet you can't help being ill you are allowed ! It is frustrating though.

At those ages they're absolutely fine just to entertain themselves while you rest and recover, and you have just come back from camping so a little bit of screen time won't hurt
