Protective stuff for dad bed

My dad keeps having accidents on the bedding. And it’s going through to his pillow and mattress. What’s the best mattress protector and now pillow protector too please? Thank you

My mum has a full waterproof mattress protector and then her sheet and then a sort of drawsheet thing that drapes over the middle part of the bed and then puppy pads (cheaper than disposable bed mats) over the top of them if required. Havent used pillow protectors but im sure you can get waterproof ones

get the heavy duty waterproof sheets rather than the plastic backed terry towelling ones, they don’t work well. You can buy covers for pillows and duvets too.
