What TV Channel is shown in your local pub

Weatherspoons always has BBC News. Other pubs always show Sky Sports. Can't think of other channels they have on in pubs. What do they have on in yours

The closest, Sky sports. I don’t like it though. The one I do like only really shows main tournaments. Wetherspoons is notorious for not paying for the rights for sky and or music. Partly why they are so soulless.

My two closest pubs don’t show TV. I’m quite glad.

Pub where I tend to watch rugby has a range of screens, so a range of channels, but they are always sport-related... so sometimes ice hockey, sometimes American football, sometimes UK football... whole mix!

The one that's a bit more studenty tends to play music channels - so MTV and stuff like that, I like it best when they play Hits of the 80s and stuff like that!

And the only other one I tend to go to which has TVs shows S4C - Welsh Channel 4 with subtitles, so that we can learn the language as we drink!

Most others don't have TV but do have a lot of live music - it's one of my favourite things about where I live - I could go out any night of the week and hear live music, which is really rather lovely.

Sky sports and some of the clubs illegally show the 3pm matches. The 3pm and other blackouts need to be voted out next year. Our main pub will switch over, if asked. I prefer the horse racing coverage when it's on ITV.

Always sport or Sky or BBC news.

Sky Sports is always on in the ones closest to me.

Whoever is showing football

The local I don't go to shows the football and rugby. I go to the next pub along which has no TVs - because it has no TVs

BBC news is on rolling at the closest. Whatever the big match is at the others

My local doesn't have a TV

None, thank god. I can watch TV at home.
