Istanbul weekend

booked a long weekend in Istanbul. I want to eat good local Turkish food and also shop! I know Istanbul does a lot of fake designer stuff. I’m not into designer wear but am really looking to jazz up my wardrobe with a few nice silk scarves, shirts…maybe a nice leather handbag and some non flashy looking accessories.
I wouid be super grateful if anyone has any tips or suggestions where I may be able to find such things and also suggestions for local restaurants.

You’ll want the Grand Bazaar.

Avoid the restaurants in Sultanahmet. Hack Abdullah is worth visiting for traditional Turkish food, and for the history of the place itself.
