So I understand he is not popular and has recently been holidaying in the Cotswolds. But I don't understand this big exaggerated AI face some group has been putting on billboards and driving around.

Firstly, are they mocking his appearance? That's not very nice, no matter what someone's politics are, their actions should be the target not what they look like.

And if it is about his remarks about free speech - again, I really don't understand how this image "owns" him, he's a foreign politician. UK gov aren't going to care about that, wouldn't it make sense to prove the point by criticising power that is actually British?

we just can’t incite violence against others. And we also have rules around extremism and what can be said, mostly to protect things like world war 2 happening again.

theres alot of misinformation on platforms like X. There’s alot of videos on X showing people being arrested, with descriptions that are simply not true. Or show half a story.

Oh and also “free speech” under the us constitution has similar restrictions - obscenity, fraud, inciting violence etc is restricted and does not come under the free speech amendment.

We don't, officially, you're right. None of you Americans' business what our unwritten constitution says though is it. Just as it's none of the UK's business that you all have a seemingly inflexible constitutional right to bear arms. We find it shocking but you don't find our politicians telling you you should sort it out, because it is not their right to do so.

Can you elaborate on what leads you to think this? Brit living in the US for the last 10+ years here and I’ve never once heard anyone (bar the current administration) mention our lack of free speech, let alone their shock at it.
