Go to your doctor and tell them your concerns and don’t take no for an answer until they get to the bottom of the issue!

If this was happening BEFORE your stroke, what does it have to do with being a stroke survivor?

what age are you? My Aunt has had this for years & was told it's just down to age. She isn't on any medication. So (for her) it's not that.

Im 57 years old so I don't think it's age related

Possibly not, but my Aunty was probably only late 50's when she started with it.

if this was happening BEFORE your Stroke, I don't uunderstand why you have titled your thread 'Stroke Survivor'?

you might get more replies if you report your OP & ask MN to change the title to be something luge ' skin changes thin & purple skin' or something like that.

i know how hard it is to get appointments. I am doing a rehabilitation class post stroke & the woman running it emailed my GP to tell her his unwell I am at the moment & that I really do need a medication review ( I'm nauseous, faint, etc etc). Surgery rang me, 1st appointment 20th September and that was over a week ago so 5 or so weeks, to see my GP, (post stroke, so not a 'well' person just feeling a bit off colour).

im trying to work out what help I could get, what treatments are available post stroke, privately, but feeling so ill it's hard to concentrate.

but keep ringing/emailing your surgery & see who you can get an appointment with. Good Lyck.
