Going away tomorrow to Norfolk for the week. It’s VERY last minute. Any ideas very welcome! Toddler is coming up to 3.

You are going to have a fab time!
My recommendations are
Roarr (actually here as I type) and pack a spare pair of clothes to enjoy the Splash Zone here
Beaches (faves are Mundesley for a bucket and spade and paddle and Holkham or Wells for dunes)
Wroxham barn is ace at that age, so much to do
Pettitts is fab for little rides and also animals
Bugz parc if they like insects, but also plenty to do
Pensthorpe good for a walk/trail and the birds, and a maize maze this year, you may need to supervise in the Indoor play (not necessarily a bad thing)
I’d echo that I might save Bewilderwood until a little older, unless a good climber/daredevil as lots of treehouses/slides
Have a wonderful time

If you go to Holkham Beach beware its a fair walk from car park to beach - those in the know take a pull along truck of some sort

Norwich Puppet Theatre (if something’s on)

The whole coast is gorgeous, especially by Holkham (bit far maybe) and to Cley.

Steam Railway from Sheringham.

Boat on the Broads.

Some great National Trusts.

Teddybear shop in Norwich (v expensive but a fun look) - Norwich in general is gorgeous.

If you venture into Suffolk the Oasis Camel park is fun , lots of different animals and plenty for kids .

This has reminded me of a wonderful piece I read in the Tourist Information brochure for Ely (Ely is Cambridgeshire but on the edge of Suffolk and Norfolk). The article was ‘10 things to do in Ely’, started strong with the (very wonderful) Cathedral and boat trips and such, but started to peter-out towards the end, after a few suggestions for activities in Cambridge (fair enough) number 10 on the 10 best things to do in Ely was, ‘have you thought about visiting Suffolk or Norfolk?’

I'd keep away from anywhere in the Sandringham area this weekend as it's heritage live. Mariah Carey, stereophonics and buble are playing so all roads in and out of the area are horrific!
