Rash? Or other

My little boy developed a rash looking area on the back of his leg during our holiday 3 weeks ago but it just doesn’t seem to be clearing up. It’s raised/ scabby and does go away/fade when pressed. He has been itching it now and again also.

went to the chemist today and they gave me a barrier cream which I’ve used all day and am unsure whether there is much difference. I have attached two pics one yesterday ( first pic) and one after the cream today (2nd pic). I am unsure whether it’s a touch of eczema or maybe something else ? Just wanted other input as don’t know whether I’ll need to contact gp maybe for a steroid to clear it ?

Parts of it look like a graze rather than a rash, did you holiday somewhere with a pool? Could it be from sitting on the edge or getting in and out?

Looks a bit like molluscum contagium that's been scratched and pestered and is now a bit infected. If it is it'll spread so you'll see new (initially very small) spots that look like little pearly bubbles that get bigger
