We currently on holiday abroad due to fly home tomorrow. OH has dropped his phone and it’s completely broken, all our boarding passes etc are on there, we can’t log onto his email address because he makes really complex passwords that are all saved on his phone! All our boarding info is on his phone. We’re flying with Ryanair and they are impossible to get hold of , won’t answer a phonecall from my number because it’s not associated to a booking and then forwards me to a verification website which just asks for a booking reference. There’s 4 of us and I would like to avoid paying for replacement boarding passes/ check in at the airport but is that the only option? I’m a bit annoyed at OH for not knowing any passwords and not having any sort of plan of something happened to his phone!

Just go to airport early and get it sorted at the check in desk.

I don't think there's much you can do without the booking reference unfortunately. It'll be a case of paying for new passes at the airport

Reset password for email or ryan air website.

Bananachimp · 14/08/2025 19:54

Just do a password reset for emails surely?

Laura95167 · 14/08/2025 19:55

Put his sim card in your handset?

You would think but he uses protonmail and hadn’t set up any recovery options, we also tried swapping SIM cards but his wouldn’t connect. Crisis averted though, we managed to speak to an actual person through their online chat and they provided us with our booking reference so I was able to access the booking from my phone. Glad we’re not paying over the odds to check in at the airport!

That is a relief! And a lesson to your husband on sorting his shit out 😂 for what it's worth I always print my boarding passes as a back up. You never know!
