To think my cat is the perfect husband

Hear meowt,
My ginger Tom might be the perfect husband. He is super handsome, always grooming himself to look the best, great with hygiene.

He also gives me lots and lots of affection. Always seeking me out to give me loving nudges, massages, sleeping next to me, purring relaxing sounds, and when he looks at me, it is with loving eyes.

He is a great co-parent too. I take the kids upstairs at 9pm, and we do bedtime together. If the kids play up and don't settle, one big meow and the kids go to bed. I usually lie next to the younger one and Tom lies next to the older one. Purring until he falls asleep. Then we get up and go watch tv downstairs. Sometimes we lie on the floor and do a yoga or a light work out. He especially likes stretching.

Tom is also a real mans man. If i let him, he goes out to hunt and brings me food. He likes to surprise me every now and then with different foods he thinks i should try and sometimes he leaves the food in new unexpected places to keep things interesting. He does get a bit grumpy if i don't let him out, but he doesn't hold grudges and cuddles me to sleep regardless.

He is also very intuitive. He knows i hate the wallpaper upstairs and he has been working on removing it for a few years now. And the best thing is, i didn't even have to ask!

So, is Tom the best husband ever?

In case anyone is wondering, this is a pic of a ginger cat with the tag line;

4 years ago I lived in a bush and hunted for my meals .Now I have 2 passive incomes, my own house and a personal chef. Follow me for financial advice.

I love it!

I had a ginger Tom for 18 years and he was the best company, so loving. Currently shacked up with two Tuxedos, a Tabby and a Bombay Black. Four husbands are hard work!

Four husbands? You strumpet 😅

YADNBU.

My cat was definitely a human in previous life and she's the best. I'd marry her any day.

Oh dear.. is Mr Tiddles very young? He might mature with age. Tom also lies a little bit. He likes to pretend he didn't have any breakfast so that the kids feed him again.

Nope, he's in the prime of life. 7 years old and a huge, fit specimen. Unlike the neighbour who's a scrawny, scrappy, teen. Mr Tiddles is just a complete wuss.

I’m pleased my husband doesn’t lick his bum.

I totally get this. I have two ginger Tom’s who are the light of my life. DH knows his place at home! I’m also the only person I know who has a photo of their cats as their phone background rather than one of their DS or DH!!

Edited

My brother in law has been replaced on my sisters phone by her favourite Alpaca. (She works with them) Said alpaca has two albums, Bil only gets one. 😹😹

My cat was a perfect husband - until the other woman came along. I caught them together - in my bed!
